Voter
Registration Deadline for the Regular Berlin Municipal Election is September
10, 2010.
YOU MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE COUNTY
BOARD OF ELECTIONS TO BE ABLE TO VOTE IN THE TOWN'S MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. The
Town does not conduct separate voter registrations. Under the provisions of the
Charter of the Town of Berlin, Article VI, eligible voters shall be:
1.
Registered
in accordance with applicable Maryland statues regarding voter registration;
and
2.
Domiciled
within the corporate limits of the Town of Berlin.
You may register in person at the
Worcester County Board of Elections at 100 Belt Street in Snow Hill, Maryland,
weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or by mail, with the proper
registration form. Forms can be requested by calling 410-632-1320, or may be
picked up from many public locations such as libraries, schools, health clinics
and Town Halls. Additional information

If
you are already registered with Worcester County, you must notify the County
Board of Elections of any changes in your name and/or address.
VOTERS
NOT REGISTERED WITH THE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY,
SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE IN THE TOWN OF BERLIN ELECTIONS

Notice
is hereby given that the filing deadline for candidates in the Berlin Municipal
Election scheduled for October 12, 2010 for the Council seats in Districts 1
and 4 and the At-Large Council Seat is 5:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2010
Applications
for candidacy, along with other required forms may be picked up Mon. through
Fri. at the Berlin Town Hall, 10 William St., Berlin, Maryland between the
hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Applications must be returned by 5:00 p.m. on
Monday, September 13, 2010 to be valid for placement on the October 12, 2010
ballot.

Notice
is hereby given that the Town of Berlin Board of Elections Supervisors will
accept applications for Absentee Ballots BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 13, 2010 for the
Regular Municipal Election scheduled for October 12, 2010.
APPLICATIONS
WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE BEFORE THAT DATE, AND MUST BE RETURNED BY THE
DEADLINE TO BE ACCEPTED.
Applications must be returned by the
following deadlines:
If by mail: The application must be
RECEIVED at the address indicated on the
form no later than October 5, 2010; postmark WILL NOT be considered.
If in person: Applications will be
accepted at Berlin Town Hall, 10 William Street, Berlin IN PERSON up to 5:00 PM
on October 8, 2010.
ABSENTEE
BALLOTS will be accepted up to the close of the polls at 7:00 p.m. on October
12, 2010.

OCTOBER 12, 2010
Council Seats in
Districts 1 and 4 and At-Large
Notice is hereby given to all eligible
voters of the Town of Berlin that a Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday,
October 12, 2010 for the Council Seats in Districts 1 and 4 and At-Large.
Voters residing in Districts 1 and 2
will vote at the Buckingham Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Main Street, Berlin,
Maryland, and voters residing in Districts 3 and 4 will vote at the
Multi-Purpose Building on Flower Street, next to the Head Start Center.
District 2 and District 3 voters will only be able to vote for the At-Large
Council Seat, which will appear on the ballot at both voting locations.
Both polling places will open at 7:00
a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, and will remain open until 7:00 p.m.
Absentee ballots will be accepted until the close of polls.
